# How to clean up empty Kafka topics

We are trying to clean up our Apache Kafka cluster by identify the empty topics.

Is there any option in Lenses from UI or command line or API to get listing empty topic (zero bytes)?

Since Lenses 5.1, you can now identify empty topics from the Explore page (there’s also an API).

5.2 (coming soon) should include ability to bulk delete the topics.
