# Lenses not showing some topics in Explore page

Lenses does not show certain newly-created topics in the Explore screen. This happens if we create the topics in Lenses or via another tool/CLI.

We are able to confirm with other tools that these topics do exists in kafka and that the schemas are in schema-registry. And we’re able to see the topic if we go straight to the Lenses URL eg:

[https://mylenses/data/topics/datahub.demo.v10/metrics](https://mylenses/data/topics/datahub.demo.v10/metrics)

This is a known bug. Upgrading to 5.0.5 or later should solve it
