I am streaming data to S3 from AWS Kinesis Firehose, and unfortunately you cannot specify a file extension for it to use as it writes S3 objects. Is there a way for the S3 source connector to not require an explicit file extension for the STOREAS format you’re using?

Indeed there is not such support to overwrite the file extensions. Thanks for the suggestion, we will add it to the features backlog.
